Additionally, we offer nutritional counseling that is done in conjunction with a biochemist, who not only treats the animal, but also protects the animal from the medical symptoms caused by environmental contaminants. “This is the best way to treat many ailments, including lameness seen in performance horses that are expected to compete under stress and less and less normal conditions,” East Coast Equine’s Dr. Amy Hayek said.East Coast Equine also has plans to offer hyperbaric chamber treatments for horses in the very near future. Currently, only about 20 hyperbaric treatment centers exist in the U.S.
